Dave Duffield

David Albert Duffield is the chief executive officer and a co-founder of Workday. Previously, he was the founder and chairman at Peoplesoft, Inc. Mr. Duffield also served as the firm's chief executive officer from August 1987 through September 1999 and as president from August 1987 through May 1999. Prior to founding PeopleSoft, he was founder, chief executive officer, and chairman of Integral Systems Inc. Duffield co-founded Information Associates in 1968. Prior to that, Duffield worked at IBM Corporation as a marketing representative and systems Engineer. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Council at Longworth Venture Partners. Duffield holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. degree from Cornell University.
